I an glad that Boris Johnson is on the road to recovery, but I am appalled that some of the media who reiterate the B views of his father "almost took one for the team" and will need a period of rest as he begins to recover from Covid
And this is really ridiculous
Whilst This which appears on something called British and Commonwealth Forces ,reaches the level of North Korea
I could add more headlines from the The Scum, Daily Fail, and Torygraph but I don't want you to throw up
Suffice to say a government and its supporters who have failed us with their initial response of Herd Immunity , in which many more would have dies and have not provided enough Testing and Personal Protection Equipment even for front line staff and respirators and ventilators for those patients desperately need them, dont desevre to be portrayed as War leaders or Heroes.
If we did however compare this to a war then the phrase Lions led by donkeys" is a phrase popularly used to describe the British infantry of the First World War and to blame the generals who led them. The contention is that the brave soldiers (lions) were sent to their deaths by incompetent and indifferent leaders (donkeys) springs to mind
