Plaid in Cardiff seem to be seeking to include McEvoy whatever happens.

There is undoubtedly a great  deal of support for Neil McEcoy among some Plaid Members .

In September 2017, McEvoy was suspended again, after a unanimous decision by Plaid's Assembly group, following accusations that he had undermined Plaid Cymru's policy on council housing. In January 2018 he was expelled from the Plaid Cymru group in the Welsh Assembly, with a spokesperson stating that "His ongoing behaviour has left assembly member colleagues feeling undermined and demoralised".He currently sits as an Independent.

He  does however not receive the same support from his colleagues in the Assembly  and there are reports that Plaid Cymru assembly are members opposed to Neil McEvoy's application to re-join party,

It seems that his Cardiff supporters  may be preparing for the worst with this tweet coming from Plaid councillor Keith Parry.

The Plaid Cymru Group on Cardiff City Council has changed its name to the Cardiff Plaid and Independents Group. We have done this to include any independent members or Labour Party defectors who may wish to join and work with us. We have work on the council to do and indeed in winning the Cardiff West seat for Plaid Cymru.

You don't have to a a genius to see what's happening here .

So will in the Fairwatwer  ward which both Councilor Parry and Neil McEvoy represent, put up  joint candidates in the next  council elections under the guise of Plaid Cymru-Independent group with two Plaid Candidates and Neil McEvoy.

What Plaid Governing body will make of this will be interesting.

I doubt there will be Pro-Remain pact in Brecon and Radnorshire ,

Plaid may well have a sincere  in suggesting  a coalition with other parties might be in the offing after Brecon and Radnorshire Conservative MP Chris Davies was ousted by his constituents

Nation Cymru tell us that 

Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price had previously written to the leaders of pro-Remain parties during and after the EU Elections, calling on them to work together to push for a People’s Vote.A Plaid Cymru Spokesperson said:  “The people of Brecon and Radnorshire have spoken and a by-election will now take place. This will likely be a crucial first test for the incoming Conservative Prime Minister.“The two-party status quo in Westminster is breaking down. In last month’s European elections many voters broke the habit of a lifetime by choosing to back pro-People’s Vote parties, rather than the Conservatives or Labour.“Ensuring those of us who want to see a fresh referendum work together, at every possible level, to deliver this aim is crucial. We will explore options for how we can work together, across party lines, to deliver this in the upcoming Brecon and Radnorshire by-election.”

But I doubt the Liberal Democrats , would not be interested  in a coalition and only want Plaid and the Greens to stand down in their favour.

It is of course a Target seat

Elections in the 2000s

They lost it in the 2015 election after their disastrous gig as David Cameron.s bag carriers

Since then of course they have as of late a revival  and would fancy thier chances in the forthcoming byelection.

However there is a new player in town in Nigel Farage 's Brexit Party Limited Company and Electoral Calculus even predict it being a two horse race between  the Brexit Party Limited Company and the Liberal democrats.

The Plaid Green vote may well help the Liberal Democrats to win the seat but they , would clearly like to win on their own back.

With no current MPs and only one Assembly member They are desperate to reestablish themselves in Wales and have eyes on neighbouring  Ceredigion.

It may be in the interest of both Wales and the UK for a coalition defeat of the Brexit Party Limited Company on Brecon and Radnorshire . but it is not in that of the Liberal Democrats and that will prevail.

Brexit Party Limited company deliver leaflets under EU funding1

Many of you in Wales will by now received a Large and Glossy leaflet from Nigel Farage's Brexit Party Limited Company under the guise of  the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group in the EU.

Indeed the Leaflet intended for our Windows ( though mines going in to the recycling bin because it's no use as bog paper) is to large to scan but here's a sample.

For a Leaflet that calls for Wales  to "Be Bold, be Brave and let's Brexit , the complete absence of Cymraeg tells us a lot.

As I noted this has come from Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy (EFDD or EFD²) is a Eurosceptic political group in the European Parliament. The EFDD group is a continuation for the Eighth European Parliament of the Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFD) group that existed during the Seventh European Parliament, with significant changes to group membership.

In 2017, it was one of the seven political groups of the parliament. This group is opposed to European integration.^[]Twenty-four out of its 47 MEPs were from the United Kingdom, representing the UK Independence Party.

Its president is British politician Nigel Farage, who was elected for the UK Independence Party, and then became an independent in 2018 before becoming leader of the Brexit Party in 2019. 

Its current membership is rather small 

Currently, the EFDD has 44 MEPs for the 2019–2024 session among its outgoing parties, but in only 3 countries (short of the 7 needed to constitute a group). If, as planned, the UK leaves the European Union on 31 October, the EFDD will have 15 MEPs.

We can wonder why this leaflet , where there seems to be different versions , for the UK Nations did not come directly from the Brexit Party Limited cCmpany instead of  using the European group.

Of course they could well be using European and British Taxpayers Money, than that of Brexit Donors (whoever they are,

Mind you not every Brexit Party Limited company, want to waste Taxpayers money

I think I might watch this on my shiny new iPad I was given by the European Parliament for no very obvious reason. We need to leave the corrupt gravy train, as we were promised we would.

Many people responded by pointing out that they have been provided with equipment , in order to do their job and I wonder if Ms Rees-Mogg expenses will show a level of frugality, tht her leader in the  Brexit Party Limited Company has not shown in his years as a Member of the European Parliament.

Is it not time that the Electoral Commission investigate  Brexit Party Limited Company, on who funds it and just who is directing it.

Boris Johnson as PM will empower growing racism.

Whatever you views of whether the SNP's leader at Westminster leader has branding Boris Johnson a "racist" who is unfit to lead the country. We do know that  some politicians join members of the public in believing that Brexit  has somehow allowed them to make racist remarks

Speaking during prime minister's questions, Ian Blackford highlighted previous comments Mr Johnson had made about Muslims, Africans and Scots.

He refused to withdraw his allegation of racism despite being urged to do so by Speaker John Bercow.

Mr Blackford went on to say that Mr Johnson is "not only racist" but is also "stoking division in communities and has a record of dishonesty".

His remarks caused uproar in the Commons chamber, with Mr Bercow urging Mr Blackford to be "extremely careful in the language he uses".

Mr Bercow said: "I think it would be much better for now were he to withdraw any allegation of racism against any particular member.

"I don't think this is the forum and I don't think it's the right way to behave."

Mr Blackford stood by his claim, adding: "The member has called Muslim women letterboxes, he described African people as having watermelon smiles and another disgusting slur that I would never dignify by repeating

"If that's not racist, Mr Speaker, I don't know what is.

"Does the prime minister honestly believe that this man is fit for the office of prime minister?"

Certainly his elevation will not reduce  the Racism and race-related hate crime that has increased since the 2016 Brexit referendum, with officers appointed to deal with resultant "tensions".

Three of the four Welsh police forces reported rises in the last five years, figures released to a BBC show.

Eryl Jones, from charity Show Racism the Red Card, said he believed Brexit had been a "major influence".

It comes as 24 community cohesion officers are being appointed by councils across Wales.

They will focus in particular on developing strong links with European Union citizens and other minority groups which might feel susceptible to Brexit tensions.

"Incidents of racism have gone up throughout the UK as well as in Wales since the campaign to leave the EU, " Mr Jones said.

"It's fairly obvious that Brexit has been a major influence.

"The feeling is that a lot of people believe they have the right to express their racist feelings or to show hatred."

In the referendum, 854,572 (52.5%) voters in Wales chose to leave the EU, compared with 772,347 (47.5%) supporting Remain.

Home Office figures show hate crimes in England and Wales rising over the past five years - with a spike since 2016 blamed on Brexit.

The latest police figures released to the BBC Radio Cymru Manylu programme following a Freedom of Information request:

• North Wales Police reported 416 crimes in 2014, rising to 476 in 2016 and 858 in 2018
• Gwent Police reported a rise from 374 in 2015-16 to 651 in 2018-19
• South Wales Police said there were 879 incidents in 2013-14, rising to 1,102 in 2014-15, 1,232 in in 2015-16 and 1,244 in 2017-18
• Dyfed-Powys Police did not provide figures.

Of course not everybody who voted Leave are Racist, but without a doubt all racists voted Leave.

They may be a minority, but it is a minority that feels that Brexit has empowered them and the comments by the likes of Boris Johnson has empowered them.

By August he is likely be in Number Ten as UK Prime Minister .

In normal times, it could mean that it would moderate his racist views, but I think that he will be seeking to strengthen his power base by appealing to those Leavers who voted for the Brexit  Party last month.

Just as Donald Trump realises that he does not have to reach out beyond his Right Wing support, but increase his rhetoric and claiming that the "Liberal Media"  and Elites are out to ruin his Presidency, Johnson will do exactly the same.

The Bully as victim will increasingly be the cry of racist and our next Prime Minister is likely to support it.
