A Welshman was once shipwrecked and spent 10 years alone on a Desert Island.
He was eventual rescued and prior to leaving his Island showed his rescuers around.
They came upon three huts.
"What are these? asked one of his rescuers.
"That one the Welshman" said pointing to the first, is where I sleep, cook and shelter from the rain.
"And that one is the chapel, I attend every Sunday and days like Christmas day"
"And what is that hut for?" asked his rescuer pointing to the third.
"That" said the Welshman with derision "Is the Chapel I do go to ever ".
And that is the history of Non-Conformist Wales.
