Right wing presenter Andrew Neil criticised the corporation over a video posted on the CBBC Twitter feed. The two minute clip was from satirical children’s show Horrible Histories.
I have no problem with calling Andrew Neil Right Wing his bias comes out more than often and I was surprised that Boris Johnson avoided being grilled by him as the other Party leaders were as I doubt Neil would have been so aggressive.
It is the people who believe the "Great" in Great Britain means that the island is
tremendous ratherthan simply refering to the mainland.

It was presented by comedian Nish Kumar who introduced the video with a reference to Britain’s EU departure.Welsh Tory Andrew RT Davies couldn't wait to put his oar in.
The video features Queen Victoria being shocked to discover goods she enjoys, such as tea and sugar, are not actually produced in Britain.
Mr Neil commented: “This is anti-British drivel of a high order.
Critics pointed out it’s unlikely Queen Victoria would have thought either tea or sugar come from the UK.
Sugar was grown in the Caribbean whilst tea originated in China, but was later produced on mass in India.
The video clip has been viewed around a million times, partly because of the controversy it attracted.
In the introduction Mr Kumar comments: “Britain is striking out on its own and leaving Europe.
He then adds, apparently sarcastically, “Go Britain!”
In the video the actress playing Queen Victoria and an actor portraying her butler sing about what things are actually British.
The butler claims there are “hardly any” British produced goods and sings “your British things are from abroad and most are frankly stolen”.
The video was also criticised by conservative commentator Iain Martin. In response to the video Mr Martin tweeted: “Is the BBC on a mission to get itself closed down?”
However other social media users came to the BBC’s defence.
Writer Ian Fraser responded to Mr Neil by commenting: “Is there anything factually incorrect about this?
“Also isn’t it healthy that, just occasionally, British schoolchildren are made aware that not everything about Britain’s past is glorious?”
Children’s BBC? Seriously? What is this rubbish? Despite the criticism I’ve always tried to support the BBC but perhaps it is time to have a look at the organisation and licence fee. Kids TV - terrible!
and he found support in from Daran Hill (which surprise me)
Always rated
Horrible Histories and watched with the kids. This broadcast however is warped to the ultra negative and hugely politically driven. If you can’t see that, you’re politically driven yourself. Time for neutrality in children’s broadcasting.
aAll I can say is that the backlash against the video shows the future as we Post Brexit see a return to the same imperialist bollocks that I and Andrew RT Davies were taught in school.
tremendous ratherthan simply refering to the mainland.
Those Gammons who during Brexit refering to the UK standing alone in World War 2 even seeming to claim they fought in it.
The British Empire is dead and however Boris Johnson tries to revive it with a Empire Mark 2 it is likely that it will be the Union that joins the Empire in its Grave.
But be prepared for UK politicians and media that will constantly use racism and xenophobia in a effort to shore up their tattered dreams of a gloriously future.
