I'd argue that McEvoy's departure from Plaid is distinctly different as he fought hard to get that party to engage in areas for which they had no stomach, and they ended up kicking him out.

As for the UKIP/Brexit/Abolish axis of evil I seriously expect them to wither further into the margins. Abolish probably has a better chance of getting a regional seat than the others. Of the rest it's a demographic roulette as many of the white flight Anglo settlers may revert to their true Tory roots especially as so many of their candidates won Westminster seats in Dec 19 dafishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04216920242825385976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2133809191630290599.post-25491386825704354412020-06-25T08:29:26.054+01:002020-06-25T08:29:26.054+01:00I do wonder if the regulations relating to regiona...I do wonder if the regulations relating to regional MSs should be reviewed. None of them were elected as individuals. They were elected because the results in the other seats did not fairly reflect the proportion of seats provided by the unfair first past the post system. If these regional MSs no longer feel they can stand under the party colours that elected them, then perhaps the next person on their party list should take their place?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
